Here’s the first recipe of the new year! We made grilled mahi mahi, marinated in Original Yakitori sauce, fish tacos. Also, topped with a quick and easy chili garlic lime aioli.
You’ll need about six ounces of fish per person, we had around one and a half pounds. Place your fillets in a zip-lock bag and cover with original yakitori sauce, seal and refrigerate overnight (24 hours) flip the bag over in the morning. Preheat your grill on medium-high heat. While it is heating up, make a foil tray by doubling up some heavy duty aluminum foil and fold up the edges. Place the filets in the foil tray and place on the grill. Grill about five minutes per side, fish should flake easily when done.
Other items you’ll need:
cabbage, thinly sliced
For the Chili Garlic Lime Aioli:
1/3 cup of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons chili garlic sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl until combined and smooth. Plastic-wrap bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.
